Summer, fall and winter collide

Last day of summer sees snow at high elevations, 1st freeze predicted

The first sign of winter - snow - fell on the last day of summer here in the Yampa Valley. Fall officially begins today, when early morning temperatures could drop to the low 20s. Daytime highs are expected to increase into the 70s by week's end.
