Nancy Ciran

Age: 50

Occupation: Various

Place of birth:Illinois

Q. When did you move to Routt County, and what brought you here?

A. 1992. I was looking to get back to Western Colorado after three years in Wyoming and the birth of my son.

Q. Describe your morning routine.

A. Dogs, dogs, dogs.

Q. Has a book ever changed your life? What was it and why?

A. "Love is Letting Go of Fear," by Gerald Jampolsky. It was and is a dramatic way to change the way you live.

Q. What's the best piece of advice you've ever been given?

A. Trust your intuition.

Q. What three things would you want people to know about you?

A. 1) I am not scary and don't read your thoughts, even though I'm a psychic and medical intuitive. 2) I'm really that helpful. 3) It's not hard - at all - for me to be kind.

Q. What did you want to be when you grew up?

A. I wanted to help people: help educationally, help emotionally and help people help themselves.

Q. If you could invite any four people to dinner, who would they be and what would you talk about?

A. Jesus, Quan Yin, Mother Teresa and Buddha. Spirituality, compassion and living here on Earth.

Q. Do you collect anything?

A. Crystals and incense, it seems. I've given away all collectibles, except Christmas ornaments from childhood.

Q. Who is your favorite superhero? Why?

A. Superman, because he helps people, comes from a different planet and can't get back.

Q. Do you have any phobias?

A. I found out I am not a good spelunker if I have to crawl or squeeze through granite. Also, you won't catch me doing anything off the ground - except commercial flights, and I close my eyes so I don't see how small the houses look.

Q. What is your favorite thing to do in Routt County?

A. Enjoy the beauty, camp, walk and breathe it all in.
