Steamboat Springs — Thank you to Suzanne Schlicht and Justin Hirsch of Steamboat Pilot & Today and its staff for their enormous assistance in producing the Routt County Livability Index (RCLI). Their efforts alongside the generosity of our major sponsors of Routt County, Colorado Mountain College, Department of Local Affairs and numerous private companies enabled us to produce the second edition of the RCLI.
There was at least one glaring mistake that was missed and that was the full identification that Karen Tussey represents both the towns of Yampa and Oak Creek. My apologies to the Town of Yampa and to Karen.
Realizing that we will continue to refine and enhance the RCLI, we want to make sure that the residents of Routt County know that they are invited and encouraged to inform us of any other incongruities or offer suggestions and ideas to better serve our community. More importantly, we charge the residents and decision-makers of Routt County to delve into this project and work together toward the betterment of our community.
