12:01 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers contacted a person near a bank in the 300 block of Lincoln Avenue. Everything was fine.

12:50 a.m. Police were called to a report of a suspicious incident in the first block of Eighth Street where a door was found open. Officers detained a man, but he had keys and was approved to be in the building by a manager. Everything was fine.

1:14 a.m. Police were called to a report of a suspicious incident in the 200 block of Hill Street where a woman reported that she heard a strange noise outside her house but could not see anything from her window. Officers determined that the noise was made by ice falling from her roof onto a trash can, and everything was fine.

3:08 a.m. Police were called to a report of a car parked at Yampa Valley Medical Center. Hospital security wanted to determine whether the owner was a patient.

7:52 a.m. Police were called to a report of a dog at large in the 1300 block of Hilltop Parkway. Animal Control officers returned the dog to its owner and issued a warning.

9:18 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a car off the road near mile marker 124 on U.S. Highway 40, near Routt County Road 44. No injuries were reported.

9:41 a.m. Police were called to a report of a gas skip in the first block of Anglers Drive where a person reportedly drove off without paying for $25 worth of gasoline.

10:30 a.m. Deputies and Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue emergency responders were called to a report of an SUV off the road on C.R. 36. No injuries were reported.

10:36 a.m. Police were called to a report of a fraudulent check passed in the 2300 block of Mount Werner Circle.

10:56 a.m. Police were called to a report of cars parked illegally on Pine Street. Officers issued several tickets.

11:03 a.m. Police and Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue were called to a report of a fire alarm at a store in Central Park Plaza. The alarm was triggered by a new rooftop heating unit, and everything was fine.

11:13 a.m. Police and Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue were called to a report of a car in Soda Creek at 12th Street and Lincoln Avenue where a car reportedly slid into the creek but did not roll. The driver reported minor injuries, and police issued her a ticket for driving too fast for conditions.

11:38 a.m. Police were called to a report of harassment in Steamboat Springs.

1:35 p.m. Oak Creek Fire Protection District emergency responders and deputies were called to a report of a car crash on C.R. 16.

2:36 p.m. Police were called to a report of a two-car, noninjury crash at Lincoln Avenue and Trafalgar Drive. Officers issued a ticket.

4:31 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of an engagement ring lost in Yampa.

4:41 p.m. Police were called to a report of harassment in Steamboat.

4:52 p.m. Deputies and troopers were called to a report of a car off the road near mile marker 61 on U.S. 40. No injuries were reported.

5:31 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a car off the road at C.R. 129 and C.R. 54. No injuries were reported.

7:43 p.m. Police received a report of trespassing in Steamboat.

10:16 p.m. Deputies were called for a request to assist a motorist at Hilltop Parkway and U.S. 40.

10:46 p.m. Twentymile Ambulance emergency responders were called to a request for an ambulance transport.
