Hunt details: I sat with our friend, Tom, and our guide, my husband Gary, on the place where the elk normally cross. We waited for at least an hour until Tom saw some horns sticking over the hill. Then, we moved closer and waited.
Finally, the elk showed up, two bulls jumped the fence, and I shot the first one, and Tom shot the second one! I was so excited and shaking that I had just shot my first bull elk on my first elk hunt.
