Sailors advance to semis with 31-7 win

Steamboat to play Pueblo Central next weekend

Steamboat Springs High School beat the Windsor Wizards, 31-7, to move ahead in the Class 3A playoffs. The team will take on Pueblo Central in the semifinals next weekend. The Sailors limited Windsor to 172 yards of offense and two of 10 on third downs, created four turnovers and constantly put the Steamboat offense in a position to win.

Routt County’s unemployment rate increased from 5.9 percent in September to 6.1 percent in October, according to figures released Friday by the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment. The figure hasn’t been adjusted for normal seasonal changes.
