Interesting fact: Going into the Navy after high school
Why Mayo: The senior linebacker had a breakthrough game in the opening round of the Class 3A playoffs against Berthoud. Mayo registered a team-leading 14 tackles and three sacks and recovered two fumbles in helping Steamboat to a 24-13 win.
