12:35 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a suspicious incident in Lithia Springs Park on 13th Street.

1:05 a.m. Police and Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue emergency responders were called to an ambulance request for a 37-year-old man with intense stomach pain in Steamboat Springs. Paramedics transported the man to Yampa Valley Medical Center.

1:39 a.m. Police were called to a request for an officer in the first block of Seventh Street, where bar workers requested help removing a patron.

1:41 a.m. Police were called to a suspicious incident in the 200 block of Lincoln Avenue, where a man reportedly punched a neon sign. Officers contacted a 25-year-old Steamboat man with cuts on his hand, and paramedics transported him to YVMC. Officers issued him a summons for suspicion of criminal mischief and possession of drug paraphernalia.

6:03 a.m. Colorado Division of Wildlife officers were called to a report of a bear in the 1000 block of Merritt Street.

7:36 a.m. Routt County Sheriff's Office deputies were called to a request for an officer at U.S. Highway 40 and Colorado Highway 131, where a metal bed frame was in the highway.

8:17 a.m. A driver reported a noninjury, two-car crash from earlier in the day. Officers took a report.

10:05 a.m. Deputies were called to a report of an assault in the 14000 block of Routt County Road 16. A man reported that his male roommate assaulted him earlier in the day. Deputies took a report.

11:32 a.m. Police were called to a report of harassment in the 400 block of Tamarack Drive for an ongoing complaint of a tenant bothering other residents. Officers issued a ticket.

11:36 a.m. Police were called to a complaint of loud music in the 2900 block of West Acres Drive.

12:53 p.m. Deputies were called to a request for motorist assistance on U.S. 40 near mile marker 149, where a car had broken down. Deputies helped the driver get a tow.

1:56 p.m. Deputies were called to a juvenile situation in Steamboat, where several youths were reportedly being careless on an ATV and pulling each other. Deputies were unable to locate the youths.

2:48 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of harassment on C.R. 129 near Clark, where a former employee was reportedly sending harassing e-mail messages. Deputies advised the employer.

4:42 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue was called to a request for an ambulance in Steamboat.

5:48 p.m. DOW officers were called to a report of a bear in the 900 block of Pine Street.

6:18 p.m. Police were called to a noninjury, two-car crash in the 200 block of Locust Court. Officers took a report.

7:35 p.m. Police were called to a report of a shoplifter in the 1400 block of South Lincoln Avenue, where a man reportedly stole a 12-pack of soda and two or three gallons of milk from a grocery store.

8:09 p.m. Police were called to a report of a theft of a cell phone from the 100 block of Lincoln Avenue. Officers took a report.

8:39 p.m. Police were called to a report of a bear in the 2000 block of Walton Creek Road. The bear was gone when officers arrived.

10:12 p.m. Police were called to a report of a bear in the 700 block of Amethyst Drive. Officers were unable to locate the bear.

11:02 p.m. Police were called to a report of a bear in the 1600 block of Shadow Run Frontage. The bear was gone when officers arrived.

11:46 p.m. Deputies and Hayden Police Department officers were called to a report of domestic verbal argument in Hayden. Deputies gave a man a courtesy ride to another house for the night.
