Steamboat briefs: School Board to discuss Fund Board gifts tonight

The Steamboat Springs School Board meets tonight at Centennial Hall on 10th Street. The public portion of the meeting begins at 7 p.m., after a 6 p.m. executive session to discuss negotiations and strategies regarding the proposed Steamboat 700 development west of Steamboat Springs. Public agenda items include a second reading of a gift acceptance policy and acceptance of gift letters from the Education Fund Board, which administers the city's half-cent sales tax for education and allocates revenues for educational needs across Routt County.
