12:23 a.m. Routt County Sheriff's Office deputies and Hayden Police Department officers were called to a car crash on U.S. Highway 40 near mile marker 105.

12:51 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers contacted a suspicious person at Fish Creek Falls Road and Amethyst Drive where a man reportedly was carrying a knife. The man said he was a chef and that he was carrying the knife in case he was confronted by a bear. Officers gave the man a ride to his house.

5:27 a.m. Hayden police and West Routt Ambulance emergency responders were

called to an ambulance request in Hayden.

6:30 a.m. Police were called to a suspicious incident at Steamboat Springs High School where a custodian suspected a person was camping on the school lawn. The person was actually a teacher preparing for a lesson, and everything was fine.

8:24 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue emergency responders were called to a fire alarm in the 1800 block of River Queen Lane.

9:48 a.m. Deputies were called to a report of a burglary in the 39000 block of Routt County Road 62 near Clark.

11:54 a.m. Police reported nine cases of identity theft in Steamboat Springs.

1:17 p.m. Police were called to a report of theft of a Jamis mountain bike from the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue.

2:22 p.m. Police were called to a complaint of a dog at large in the 400 block of Blue Sage Circle. Animal control officers issued the owner a warning.

2:30 p.m. Oak Creek Fire Protection District emergency responders were called to an ambulance request in Oak Creek.

3:28 p.m. Police and Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue were called to an ambulance request at Third Street and Lincoln Avenue where a woman in her 20s had fallen off a bicycle and was thought to have had a seizure. Paramedics transported the woman to the Yampa Valley Medical Center.

6:47 p.m. Police arrested a 29-year-old Colorado woman on a warrant for failure to appear.

7:40 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a stolen car in the 24000 block of Forest Service Road 503 near Columbine.

10:08 p.m. Police were called to a report of a bear in a trashcan in the 800 block of Yampa Street. Officers scared the bear away using beanbag rounds.
