"Top Chef" coming to Steamboat Wine Festival

Hosea Rosenberg to headline culinary potion of sixth annual wine gathering

— Boulder-based chef Hosea Rosenberg, winner of the fifth season of Bravo's "Top Chef," will headline the culinary portion of the sixth annual Wine Festival at Steamboat. The event, scheduled for July 30 through Aug. 2, will showcase more than 800 wines at various seminars and demonstrations, according to a news release.

Rosenberg will lead a cooking demonstration from 3 to 6 p.m. Aug. 1 at the Toast of Steamboat Grand Tasting, according to the release. The executive chef at Jax Fish House Boulder won "Top Chef" after successfully incorporating a surprise seafood course into the show's final challenge.

The Stroll of Steamboat, a wine tasting event held at downtown venues, is from 4 to 7 p.m. July 31. Throughout the festival, participants can sample and learn about fine wine and food at tastings, educational seminars, dinners and competitions, according to the release.
