Come, Let's Dance to hold benefit concert Saturday
Steamboat Springs — Blues singer Hazel Miller performs at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Sheraton Steamboat Resort in an event hosted by Come, Let's Dance, a Steamboat Springs-based nonprofit organization. The group is centered on building a self-sustainable community for Ugandan orphans and their surrounding communities.
The event includes dancing and a performance by Miller, along with a silent auction to raise funds for sustainability projects in Uganda including a farm and various micro-businesses, according to a news release. Pieces of art by Ugandan orphans will be auctioned throughout the evening, according to the release.
Tickets for the event are $120 and are available in advance at All That Jazz. The ticket price includes heavy hors d'oeuvres; there will be a cash bar. For more information, call Julie Deboer at 291-1221.
