Storm Peak conference applications due today
Steamboat Springs — Storm Peak Laboratory, a research facility located on the summit of Mount Werner, has received $300,000 in funding from the National Science Foundation ADVANCE program to create a networking program for women interested in atmospheric science.
The lab is inviting two female teachers and two female high school students to participate in select forums and activities at the conference.
The Atmospheric Science Collaborations and Enriching Networks, ASCENT, will host a three-day workshop in Steamboat Springs in June.
