Board of Realtors offers scholarships to high school students

The Steamboat Springs Board of Realtors is offering scholarships to Routt County high school students pursuing higher education. The deadline for applications is March 20. Contact local high school counselors for applications, visit or call 879-4663, ext. 11.

Steamboat swim team to hold tryouts April 7 to 9

Steamboat Springs Swim Team holds tryouts for new swimmers from 4 to 6 p.m. April 7 to 9 at Old Town Hot Springs where sign-up forms are posted. Returning swimmers must mail a completed entry form by March 25 to: SSST, P.O. Box 772117, Steamboat Springs, CO 80477. Forms also are available online at or at Old Town Hot Springs. Homemaker Guild offering 'second chance' scholarship

The Colorado Master Farm Homemaker Guild is offering a $500 scholarship to a Colorado woman with an agricultural background. Known as the "second chance scholarship," the gift is awarded to someone whose college education was interrupted or postponed. Homemakers are encouraged to apply. Applications are due May 15 and are available at the Routt County Cooperative Extension Office in the Routt County Annex on Sixth Street.
