Steamboat Springs Monday, March 9
12:18 a.m. A drunken pedestrian was reported in the 1500 block of Shadow Run Frontage, where a 19-year-old Steamboat Springs woman was arrested for minor in possession and false reporting. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers also sent one person to detox.
12:35 p.m. A allegedly drunken driver was reported on U.S. Highway 40 near mile marker 93. Hayden Police Department officers gave the driver a warning.
1:53 a.m. Police said a drunken driver with long black hair and shaggy sideburns was reported near the intersection of Ninth and Oak streets. Police were unable to locate the vehicle.
9:07 a.m. Routt County Sheriff's Office deputies arrested a 21-year-old Steamboat man for expired plates, driving under revocation and no insurance following a traffic stop in the first block of Lincoln Avenue.
9:20 a.m. Two dogs at large, a German shepherd and a husky digging through a trash container, were reported on Eighth Street near Lincoln Avenue. The animals were gone when police arrived.
11:07 a.m. A buffalo was reportedly on the road on Routt County Road 70 near Hayden. The animal was gone when deputies arrived.
2:24 p.m. A civil complaint was made from the Lower Knoll Parking Lot near the Steamboat Ski Area where a driver found another vehicle touching his car. Police took a report and damage is unknown.
2:43 p.m. A shoplifter was reported from a grocery store in the 1400 block of South Lincoln Avenue. Police took a report.
3:05 p.m. A hit and run collision from February 2008 was reported from the 1800 block of Central Park Drive. Police took a report.
3:40 p.m. A runaway snowmobile trailer hit a car in the 700 block of South Lincoln Avenue, causing damage to the car. Police took a report.
7:22 p.m. An ambulance was requested in the 2500 block of Village Drive, where a woman in her 40s or 50s reportedly was laying on the ground. The woman was conscious and breathing when responders arrived. She was transported to the Yampa Valley Medical Center.
9:07 p.m. A noise complaint was made from the 3400 block of AprÃs Ski Way where loud music reportedly was playing. The same complaint was made last week. The music was turned down.
