Q. When did you move to Routt County, and what brought you here?
A. Summer of 1982. The thought of mountain men and skiing this fabulous mountain.
Q. What's the biggest risk you've taken recently?
A. Exposing myself in this interview.
Q. Describe your morning routine.
A. Ignore the alarm as long as I can. Try to convince myself it is important to get out of bed now. Move to the kitchen to make tea, then wake up enough to remember why I am standing in the kitchen near the teapot. Proceed to next challenge.
Q. What's the best piece of advice you've ever been given?
A. Follow my heart. Do what I love.
Q. What three things would you want people to know about you?
A. 1) That I have integrity. 2) I am a kind person. 3) I have a wicked sense of humor.
Q. What did you want to be when you grew up?
A. A stripper.
Q. If you could invite any four people to dinner, who would they be and what would you talk about?
A. Leonardo Da Vinci, John Lennon, Robert Downey Jr. and Kit Rice. Leonardo and John Lennon for their unique artistic insights on life, Kit for her humor and love (always my favorite dinner company) and Robert for eye candy.
Q. Do you collect anything?
A. Are you kidding me? Have you seen my basement? Anything old with history to use in art projects - from moss to bird nests, bird eggs, feathers, antiques, broken objects to reinvent.
Q. What was your first job?
A. De-tasseling corn in Wisconsin cornfields and a carhop at A&W.
Q. Do you have any phobias?
A. Barophobia: gravity.
Q. What is your favorite thing to do in Routt County?
A. Hiking in the woods.
