1:35 a.m. Suspicious people were reported at Weiss Drive and U.S. Highway 40. Police made contact with the two individuals and determined that everything was OK.

1:43 a.m. An ambulance was requested in the 1300 block of Sparta Plaza. Police assisted Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue with a 21-year-old woman who had a severe cut to her finger. The woman was transported to Yampa Valley Medical Center.

8:38 a.m. Stray dogs were reported in the 3300 block of Columbine Drive. A person said that one of the dogs was aggressive. The dogs were gone when police arrived.

10:11 a.m. Theft was reported in the 21600 block of U.S. 40. The dispute between competing tow truck operators was resolved.

10:14 a.m. Police warned a man at U.S. 40 and Pine Grove Road about hitchhiking and then provided him with a courtesy transport.

10:15 a.m. A person complained about a vehicle parked in his driveway. The vehicle's owner showed up and moved the car before it was towed.

11:33 a.m. A person complained about an animal in the 300 block of Cherry Drive. The animal's owner was warned.

12:18 p.m. A suspicious person was reported in the 1200 block of Lincoln Avenue. A person said a man in black was trying to get inside cars. Police contacted the man and determined the report was unfounded.

1:59 p.m. Littering was reported in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive. A person was given a ticket for littering.

2:38 p.m. A drunken pedestrian was reported at Chinook Lane and Mariah Court. A motorist reported that a man walking with a Miller Lite can stumbled into the roadway. Police were unable to locate the man.

3:22 p.m. An abandoned vehicle was reported at Routt County Road 14 and Thorpe Mountain Drive.

3:30 p.m. An abandoned vehicle was reported near mile marker 5 on C.R. 14.

5:35 p.m. An ambulance was requested in the 2300 block of Mount Werner Circle for a 39-year-old injured skier.

6:23 p.m. An ambulance was requested in the 2300 block of Ski Trail Lane. A person reportedly fell out of a hot tub and was bleeding. The person was checked out and refused transport to YVMC.

6:59 p.m. A missing person was reported in the 3600 block of Lincoln Avenue. A young Hayden mother was later reunited with her 18-month-old son who had been taken home by family members concerned about the child's safety. Police do not intend to file criminal charges, and the family was referred to the Routt County Department of Human Services.

7:09 p.m. A person complained about another person emptying fluids from a vehicle into a car wash drain.

7:13 p.m. A woman complained about a man dropping his pants and mooning her in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive. A report was taken.

8:30 p.m. A drunken driver was reported on U.S. 40 near the Sleepy Bear Mobile Home Park.

11:22 p.m. A disturbance was reported in the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue.
