12:06 a.m. Domestic violence was reported in Steamboat Springs. The incident turned out to be a verbal argument between a couple, and the man had already walked away when police arrived. Police took a report.
2:29 a.m. A suspicious vehicle was reported in the 200 block of Anglers Drive. Police issued a citation.
2:42 a.m. Public urination was reported in the 1100 block of Lincoln Avenue. Police were unable to locate the person.
4:19 a.m. A noise complaint was received from the 1900 block of Rockies Way. Police gave a warning.
7:27 a.m. An abandoned vehicle was reported near mile marker 2 on Routt County Road 36.
8:10 a.m. A one-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported near mile marker 4 on C.R. 129, where a car slid off the road. The driver, a 24-year-old Steamboat Springs man, was arrested on suspicion of driving under revocation and careless driving.
8:14 a.m. Routt County Sheriff's Office deputies assisted a motorist at the base on Rabbit Ears Pass on U.S. Highway 40.
8:24 a.m. A two-vehicle, hit-and-run accident was reported at Third Street and Fish Creek Falls Road. There were no injuries. Police took a report.
8:42 a.m. A motor vehicle accident was reported at Gilpin and 13th streets. There were no injuries.
9:11 a.m. Police received an unfounded report of a protection order violation in Steamboat Springs. Everything was fine.
9:21 a.m. A motor vehicle accident was reported at U.S. 40 and Walton Creek Road. There were no injuries. Police took a report.
9:41 a.m. A vehicle complaint was received from the 3700 block of Lincoln Avenue. Police were unable to locate the vehicle.
10:03 a.m. A two-vehicle, hit-and-run accident was reported in the 200 block of Lincoln Avenue. There were no injuries. Police took a report.
10:06 a.m. A one-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported near mile marker 6 on C.R. 129.
10:16 a.m. A motor vehicle accident was reported at Mount Werner Road and U.S. 40. There were no injuries. Police took a report.
11:33 a.m. Sheriff's Office deputies assisted a motorist at Elk River Road and Lincoln Avenue.
11:45 p.m. A motor vehicle accident was reported near mile marker 1 on C.R. 129. There were no injuries. Police took a report.
1:07 p.m. A motor vehicle accident was reported on Hilltop Parkway. There were no injuries.
2:23 p.m. Steamboat police assisted a motorist at Lincoln Avenue and Highpoint Drive.
2:28 p.m. A motor vehicle accident was reported on Elk River Plaza. There were no injuries.
2:42 p.m. Fraud was reported in the 2300 block of Mount Werner Circle, where an intoxicated man was caught using another person's ski pass. The 24-year-old Steamboat Springs man tried to fight with security guards when he was caught. Routt County Sheriff's Office deputies arrested the man on suspicion of theft, disorderly conduct, violating the Colorado Skier Safety Act for skiing while intoxicated, and for an outstanding warrant.
3:13 p.m. A child custody dispute was reported in the 39600 block of Amethyst Drive. The matter was handled civilly.
3:54 p.m. A welfare check was requested on a possibly suicidal woman in Steamboat Springs. The woman was fine, but was referred for mental health services.
4:15 p.m. A burglar alarm went off in the 35500 block of C.R. 14.
4:48 p.m. Sheriff's Office deputies assisted a motorist at C.R. 27 and U.S. 40.
5:35 p.m. A vehicle complaint was received from the 400 block of Lincoln Avenue. Police issued a citation.
5:57 p.m. A woman accidentally locked her toddler in a car with the keys inside in the alley between the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue and Yampa Street. The woman's husband arrived with keys in about 10 minutes. Everyone was fine.
6:53 p.m. Sheriff's Office deputies assisted a motorist near mile marker 1 on C.R. 14.
7:34 p.m. A fire alarm went off in the 2500 block of Longthong Road.
9:38 p.m. A possible drunken driver was reported in the 1800 block of Kamar Plaza.
10:31 p.m. A holdup alarm went off in the 200 block of Lincoln Avenue. Everything was fine.
10:45 p.m. A disturbance was reported in the 2300 block of Mount Werner Circle, where intoxicated people were on a shuttle bus. They disembarked before police arrived.
11:12 p.m. A 30-year-old Steamboat Springs man was arrested during a traffic stop at Fifth and Oak streets, on suspicion of driving under the influence, DUI per se, disregarding a stop sign and expired plates.
