— A free breakfast event Tuesday will address the global economy's impact on Routt County.

Vectra Bank is sponsoring its Business for Breakfast seminar from 7:15 to 9 a.m at the Steamboat Grand Resort Hotel. David Landman, who splits time between Steamboat and London, will talk about a "Global Perspective on the World Economy: What it Means to Routt County."

Landman is a partner with the London office of Perella Weinberg Partners, an independent, privately owned financial services firm that provides corporate advisory and asset management services.

Before that, Landman was an investment banker and managing director at Morgan Stanley in London from 1986 to 2006. That included being chief operating officer for Mogan Stanley's European Investment Banking division from 2001 to 2004. He has an economics degree from Wesleyan University in Connecticut and a master's in Business Administration and a Juris Doctor from the University of Chicago's graduate schools of business and law, respectively. He is a member of the New York and Connecticut bar associations.
