Next Steps workshop for businesses is next week

Next Steps, a workshop focused on helping existing businesses run more effectively in this economy, is Tuesday through Thursday in Bogue Hall Room 300 on the Colorado Mountain College Alpine Campus in Steamboat Springs. The program, sponsored by SCORE and CMC, also is an excellent program for non-business managers to learn more about finance, marketing, people management, critical success factors and business lending. There will be a business diagnostic session in which counselors will help small-business operators understand their strengths and weaknesses better.

Light meals will be served each night at 5:30 p.m., and the session will start promptly at 6 p.m. and end at 9 p.m. The fee for this program is $50 (cash or check) and can be paid at the start of the program Tuesday.

To register or for more information, call Randy at 870-4491. An outline of this program can be found at under the business/economy page and under the Small Business Resource Center page.
