Memorial service held Sunday for 4th-generation Hayden resident

About 10 American Airlines employees from across the country who made their way to Hayden in 1989 to work as seasonal employees at Yampa Valley Regional Airport returned this weekend to honor Ann Copeland during her memorial service Sunday afternoon in the Hayden High School gymnasium.

Major crash in Milner ends in minor injuries

A man was left with only cuts and bruises after falling asleep while driving 60 miles per hour on U.S. Highway 40 this morning near Milner. Colorado State Patrol Sgt. Scott Elliott said Sean Stevens, 34, apparently fell asleep as he drove his 2006 Dodge Charger toward Steamboat Springs.

Rodeman sues Oak Creek in relation to tasing

Steamboat Briefs: C.R. 14 closed near Tree Haus today, Tuesday

The Routt County Road and Bridge Department will close Routt County Road 14 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. today and Tuesday, from about the Steamboat Springs city limits to the Tree Haus subdivision, to repair a slide area. There is no detour. Call the department at 879-0831.
