4-week CMC writing class starts at 6 p.m. Monday

"Writing a Book That Sells," a four-week class taught by Edith Lynn Beer focusing on getting work published, begins with a 6 to 8 p.m. session Monday at Colorado Mountain College's Alpine Campus.

The class covers how to organize a book, rewrite a first draft, get in contact with publishers and agents, and how to market a book after it's published, Beer said. Beer has been teaching the class at Colorado Mountain College campuses for 30 years, and has offered the class in Steamboat Springs for the past five years or so, she said.

Beer has published five books and more articles than she can count. Her students have a solid track record, with at least one or two from each class getting work published, she said. Register for "Writing a Book That Sells" through Colorado Mountain College; call 870-4444.
