1:09 a.m. A complaint was made about a vehicle on U.S. Highway 40 near the Iron Horse Inn.

1:25 a.m. A suspicious vehicle was reported in the 3800 block of Whistler Road where a car was parked in a lot and the driver was sitting inside of it. Steamboat Springs police officers told the man he couldn't sleep in his vehicle.

2:26 a.m. Fireworks reportedly were set off in the 1400 block of Conestoga Circle. Officers couldn't find anyone when they arrived on scene.

6:50 a.m. A bear was reported in the 100 block of 12th Street. Colorado Division of Wildlife officers were notified.

7:24 a.m. An accident was reported on Colorado Highway 131 south of Yampa where a Toyota 4Runner went off the road and rolled onto its roof. The female driver was treated on scene for minor injuries.

7:57 a.m. Domestic violence was reported in Steamboat Springs.

8:49 a.m. A resident complained about horses left on her property in the 40000 block of Routt County Road 52.

11:53 a.m. A possible gas leak was reported in Dream Island Plaza. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue responded to the scene. No leaking gas could be detected.

1:21 p.m. Theft was reported in the 800 block of Yampa Street.

1:26 p.m. A suspicious person was reported in the 3600 block of Lincoln Avenue.

1:41 p.m. An abandoned vehicle was reported in the 1500 block of Shadow Run Frontage.

2:45 p.m. Illegal dumping or littering was reported in the 23800 block of County Road 16 in Oak Creek.

4:14 p.m. An accident was reported in the 1800 block of Kamar Plaza where a motorist drove his car into the side of a convenience store. The driver said his brakes had failed.

4:52 p.m. A homeowner in the 1900 block of Montview Court got into an argument with construction workers he accused of stealing his electricity. Officers mediated the situation, and the homeowner was given $5 to compensate for the use of electricity.

5:03 p.m. A complaint was made about a vehicle passing unsafely on U.S. Highway 40. Routt County Sheriff's Office deputies pulled over the vehicle and issued a warning.

5:16 p.m. A homeowners association representative and a contractor disputed over an unpaid bill. Police took a report.

5:50 p.m. Steamboat Springs police and Sheriff's Office deputies

7:53 p.m. A 27-year-old Steamboat Springs woman was arrested on suspicion of second-degree assault after an altercation.
