12:20 a.m. A deer ran into the side of a Jeep at U.S. Highway 40 and Anglers Drive. The animal was killed and removed from the road.

12:48 a.m. A person complained about public urination at Lincoln Avenue and Sixth Street. The individual who urinated was given a citation and released.

2:25 a.m. Assault was reported in the 400 block of Lincoln Avenue. The people fighting were separated and interviewed. No criminal charges were pursued.

6:30 a.m. Six cars were towed from Sixth Street between Oak Street and Yampa Street to make room for the Mainstreet Farmers Market and Fourth of July Parade. Signs were posted the night before warning that overnight parking was not allowed.

9:56 a.m. A motor vehicle accident was reported near mile marker 11 on Routt County Road 129.

10:46 a.m. An ambulance was requested in Steamboat.

11:04 a.m. An ambulance was requested in Steamboat.

12:07 p.m. Trespassing was reported in the 2200 block of West U.S. 40. A report was taken.

1:34 p.m. Theft of a doormat was reported in the 800 block of Lincoln Avenue. A report was taken.

1:57 p.m. Violation of a restraining order was reported in the 2000 block of Shield Drive.

8:17 p.m. A drunken driver was reported in the 27900 block of C.R. 7C. The driver was arrested.

8:56 p.m. A traffic stop was made near the Post Office in Yampa. An arrest was made.

9:02 p.m. A burglary was reported in the 700 block of Tamarack Drive. An intoxicated man reportedly was banging on the door of a house where he thought a woman he was looking for lived. The resident of the house locked the door and called the police. Police spoke with the man, determined the woman he was looking for did not live at the house and subsequently released him.

9:38 p.m. Threats were reported in the 300 block of Old Fish Creek Falls Road. A property manager reportedly was trying to deal with illegally parked vehicles and got into arguments with the vehicles' owners. Police mediated the dispute.

10:30 p.m. A juvenile situation was reported in Steamboat. A juvenile was given a ticket for being in possession of alcohol.

10:41 p.m. A fight was reported the Howelsen Hill volleyball courts.

11:08 p.m. A traffic stop was made at U.S. 40 and Trafalgar Drive. An arrest was made.

11:27 p.m. A drunken pedestrian was reported in the 800 block of Howelsen Parkway. The pedestrian was underage and arrested.

11:39 p.m. Police contacted juveniles shooting fireworks from the Yampa River Core Trail near Third Street and Lincoln Avenue. The juveniles had been drinking, their fireworks were seized and they were given tickets for possessing alcohol.
