3:03 a.m. Domestic violence was reported in Steamboat Springs, where a woman said she wanted an abusive person out of her home. The woman then changed her mind when the man started to leave, and hung up. She called from a cell phone and police were unable to determine her location.
7:16 a.m. A fire alarm went off in the 100 block of 10th Street. Everything was fine.
7:56 a.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported on Elk River Road. Police took a report.
8:10 a.m. A vehicle complaint was received from Amethyst Drive where a car passed a school bus with its stop sign out and lights flashing. Police were unable to locate the vehicle.
8:29 a.m. Theft of a safe and its contents was reported in the 2600 block of Copper Ridge Circle. Police are investigating.
9:07 a.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported in the 200 block of North Lincoln Avenue in Oak Creek. Sheriff's Office deputies took a report and issued a citation.
9:13 a.m. Theft of a snowblower attachment, bucket and other large items was reported in the 2800 block of Downhill Drive. The theft reportedly occurred Nov. 15 or 16, 2008.
9:42 a.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported at Pine Grove Road and Lincoln Avenue. Police took a report.
10:32 a.m. A two-vehicle, hit-and-run accident was reported at Elk River Road and Lincoln Avenue. There was no damage.
10:35 a.m. A two-vehicle, hit-and-run accident was reported in the 1400 block of Pine Grove Road. There were no injuries. Police took a report.
11:01 a.m. Theft of prescription drugs was reported in the 2300 block of Mount Werner Circle. Police took a report.
11:07 a.m. A holdup alarm went off in the 2600 block of Anthony Circle. Everything was fine.
11:26 a.m. Vandalism was reported in the 600 block of Oak Street where a window had been broken. Police took a report.
11:47 a.m. Steamboat police assisted a motorist at Lincoln Avenue and Hilltop Parkway.
11:54 a.m. Theft of prescription painkillers was reported in the 1300 block of Sparta Plaza. Police took a report.
12:15 p.m. A two-vehicle, hit-and-run accident was reported in the 100 block of East Main Street in Oak Creek where a pickup hit a light pole. Sheriff's Office deputies were unable to locate the vehicle.
12:38 p.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported on Mount Werner Road. Police took a report.
1:07 p.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported on Whitewood Drive West. Sheriff's Office deputies took a report.
1:48 p.m. A hit-and-run accident was reported in the 2300 block of Mount Werner Circle where a car drove through a gate and the driver refused to give any information to a maintenance person on scene.
4:08 p.m. Domestic violence was reported in Steamboat Springs where a woman's boyfriend broke her window with his hand.
5:30 p.m. A muskrat at large was reported on Shield Drive. The animal was so cold that it was all curled up, according to the reporting party.
8:46 p.m. A vehicle complaint was received from Lincoln Avenue and Mount Werner Road where a broken-down car was blocking traffic in the eastbound lane.
10:15 p.m. Domestic violence was reported in Steamboat Springs. A 38-year-old Steamboat Springs man was arrested on suspicion of harassment.
10:45 p.m. Steamboat police assisted a motorist at U.S. Highway 40 and Mount Werner Road.
