Steamboat Briefs: Singers needed for Easter 'Messiah' choral show

Singers are needed to join the Yampa Valley Chorus in singing the Easter portion of Handel's "Messiah" with the Steamboat Strings Orchestra. Rehearsals are from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays at Steamboat Springs Middle School in Strawberry Park. If you have a "Messiah" score, please bring it to rehearsals.

VNA offering reduced-cost hepatitis vaccinations

The Northwest Colorado Visiting Nurse Association is offering reduced-cost hepatitis vaccinations, as much as $14, for high-risk groups including adults with multiple sex partners or recent sexually transmitted disease, and free HPV vaccinations for uninsured, low-income women between 19 and 26 years old. Dance Theatre seeking sponsors for March show

The Steamboat Dance Theatre is seeking sponsors for the 37th annual March concert. Sponsors help the nonprofit organization purchase costumes and offset performance costs. Sponsorships start at $250 and could include tickets to the performances, a logo on the concert poster, ads in the program, and/or banners during the concert. The Steamboat Dance Theatre is a volunteer organization where nearly 100 dancers come together to create three performances, at 7 p.m. March 5 to 7 at the Steamboat Springs High School auditorium.
