On the Market: Tatanka Ridge area sees $1 million price decline

Tatanka Ridge area sees $1 million price decline

Earlier this week, Nick Metzler, Broker/Owner at Colorado Group Realty, announced a seven-figure price reduction on the lodge-style residence at 33250 Tatanka Trail, in the Tatanka Ridge Subdivision.

The nearly 8,000 square-foot, 5 bedroom, 5-bathroom home sits on 10 acres. The home originally was listed at $3.85 million. The current asking price now is $2.85 million.

"It is unusual to see a home of this quality so far below market value/replacement value," Metzler said.

The home is located 5 miles from downtown Steamboat. The purchase includes full ownership of a 14' x 45' RV unit at the Hayden Airport Garages, located at Yampa Valley Regional Airport.

Treasurer confirms 9 foreclosures in January

Routt County Treasurer Jeanne Whiddon confirmed that her office has initiated nine foreclosure proceedings thus far in January.

The pace in the first month of the new year compares to 5 foreclosure proceedings begun throughout 2008 and 47 in 2007.

The Porches announces All Seasons completion

The developers of The Porches, Steamboat Springs' premier luxury home community, announced this week the completion of the first residence in the latest phase of their development, the All Seasons neighborhood.

The recently completed 1201 All Seasons Court now is professionally staged with furnishings and accessories and priced at $2.15 million.

The All Seasons neighborhood of The Porches comprises 17 townhomes on Rockies Way, just across the street from the first phase of The Porches.

"Some prospective buyers are saying they don't need a 4,000 square foot home such as what we offer in the first phase of The Porches," said development partner Richard Dean. "All Seasons is intended to appeal to the buyer who wants the personal attention and amenities that The Porches has come to be known for, but in a more intimate residence."
