12:49 a.m. Hayden police arrested a 39-year-old Tennessee man on suspicion of driving under the influence and driving under suspension in the 100 block of East Jefferson Avenue.

12:50 a.m. A suspicious vehicle was reported parked at Fifth and Oak streets. Police issued three minor in possession of alcohol citations.

12:59 a.m. A domestic dispute was reported between a boyfriend and girlfriend in Steamboat Springs. A 29-year-old Steamboat man was arrested on suspicion of harassment.

1:33 a.m. Theft of a cell phone was reported in the 29500 block of Routt County Road 27. Routt County Sheriff's Office deputies took a report.

1:52 a.m. A citation for public urination was issued in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue.

2:05 a.m. A disturbance was reported at Seventh and Yampa streets. Police determined that people merely were congregating in the area, and nothing criminal was occurring.

2:11 a.m. An ambulance was requested in the 800 block of Yampa Street where an intoxicated man slipped on some ice and hit his head. He was transported to the hospital.

2:47 a.m. A 24-year-old Steamboat Springs man was arrested during a traffic stop in the 300 block of South Lincoln Avenue, on suspicion of driving under the influence, DUI per se, weaving and no valid driver's license.

3:01 a.m. A stolen vehicle and trailer were reported in the 3100 block of South Lincoln Avenue. They soon were found with a friend who had borrowed them.

3:16 a.m. A sledding accident was reported on Grouse Creek Road. One man went to the hospital with minor injuries.

3:34 a.m. A one-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported at C.R. 14 and Colorado Highway 131 where a car went off the road. It was gone when Sheriff's Office deputies arrived.

3:53 a.m. A domestic dispute was reported in Oak Creek where people were yelling at each other. The noise was New Year's revelers, and everything was fine.

3:59 a.m. An ambulance was requested in Steamboat Springs for a 71-year-old man who was confused and disoriented. He refused transport.

7:02 a.m. An ambulance was requested in Steamboat Springs where a man reportedly passed out in the snow outside a condominium complex. He got up and ran off before the ambulance arrived.

9:23 a.m. A disturbance was reported in the 2300 block of Mount Werner Circle where a man, whose illegally parked car had been booted, became irate at private security.

11:09 a.m. An ambulance was requested in Steamboat Springs, where a restaurant patron fell and hit his head. He was transported to the hospital.

12:38 p.m. An ambulance was requested in Oak Creek for a 44-year-old man with severe hypothermia. He was transported to the hospital. Sheriff's Office deputies took a report.

12:44 p.m. A one-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported near mile marker 8 on C.R. 14.

12:50 p.m. A 33-year-old Yampa woman was arrested on an outstanding out-of-county warrant.

1:06 p.m. A two-vehicle, hit-and-run accident was reported in the 2600 block of Alpenglow Way. There were no injuries. Police took a report.

2:45 p.m. A parking complaint was received from the 1800 block of Ski Time Square Drive. The vehicle was moved.

3:32 p.m. A disturbance was reported in the 6300 block of Homesteader Lane in Hayden, where a woman refused to leave a residence. Hayden police took a report.

5:45 p.m. A fire was reported above the Emerald Meadows subdivision, where flames could be seen on the ridge. The fire was determined to be a controlled agricultural burn, and everything was fine.

6:04 p.m. A possible drunken driver was reported near mile marker 60 on Colo. 131.

7:12 p.m. An illegally parked vehicle was towed from the 29000 block of River Drive in Clark.

7:24 p.m. Fraud was reported in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive, where a woman tried to pay for a store purchase with currency that appeared counterfeit. Police are investigating.

10:56 p.m. A noise complaint was received from the 1300 block of Sparta Plaza, where doors were being slammed and other noise being made. Police gave a warning.

11:28 p.m. A suspicious incident was reported in the 1600 block of Lincoln Avenue, where a young man was seen entering a public building after hours. The man was detained but released after police determined he only entered the unlocked vestibule to stay warm, and did not try to enter any secured portion of the building.
