1:34 a.m. A noise complaint was received from the 3300 block of Columbine Drive. Police gave a warning.

2:26 a.m. Steamboat police assisted a motorist on South Lincoln Avenue.

6:25 a.m. A 24-year-old Steamboat Springs man was arrested on an outstanding warrant during a traffic stop near mile marker 10 on Routt County Road 14.

8:34 a.m. Routt County Sheriff's Office deputies assisted a motorist near mile marker 122 on U.S. Highway 40.

8:53 a.m. Theft of prescription pain pills was reported in the 800 block of Lincoln Avenue. A 37-year-old Steamboat Springs man was arrested on suspicion of theft and use of a Schedule 2 controlled substance.

9:54 a.m. Vandalism was reported on Ski Time Square Drive, where a sign had graffiti spray-painted on it.

10:45 a.m. Prescription fraud was reported in the 900 block of Central Park Drive. Police took a report and referred the matter to the Craig Police Department, as the alleged fraud happened in its jurisdiction.

10:48 a.m. A restraining order violation was reported in the 1300 block of Skyview Lane.

10:56 a.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported in the 300 block of South Lincoln Avenue.

11:15 a.m. A protection order violation was reported in Steamboat Springs.

11:33 a.m. A possible drunken driver was reported at Anglers Drive and U.S. 40. Police were unable to locate the vehicle.

12:27 p.m. A 43-year-old Denver man sustained leg injuries when he was thrown from his snowmobile on Rabbit Ears Pass. Routt County Search and Rescue brought the man out of the backcountry, and he was transported to the hospital via ambulance.

12:59 p.m. A drug complaint was received from the 400 block of Lincoln Avenue, where someone reportedly was smoking marijuana on the sidewalk. Police were unable to locate the person.

2:37 p.m. A possible fraud was reported in the 43400 block of Elk Run, where a man received a phone call from someone requesting his personal information. The call was from a legitimate agency.

2:42 p.m. Three intoxicated men reportedly were loitering in the alley between the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue and Yampa Street. Police gave them a courtesy ride.

3:43 p.m. An illegally parked vehicle was towed from the 800 block of Oak Street.

5:34 p.m. Littering was reported at Lincoln Avenue and Mount Werner Road. Police were unable to locate the vehicle.

5:40 p.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported at Lincoln Avenue and Fourth Street. Police took a report and issued a citation.

7:12 p.m. A motor vehicle accident was reported near mile marker 141 on U.S. 40. There were no injuries.

7:27 p.m. The sound of shots fired was reported in the area of C.R. 36. Sheriff's Office deputies were unable to find the source of the noise or anything amiss.

7:44 p.m. Sheriff's Office deputies assisted a motorist at Colorado Highway 131 and C.R. 18.

7:51 p.m. A possible drunken driver was reported heading south on C.R. 14. Sheriff's Office deputies were unable to locate the vehicle.

10:28 p.m. A noise complaint was received from the 1900 block of Bridge Lane. Police gave a warning.

10:30 p.m. A 45-year-old Steamboat Springs man was arrested during a traffic stop at Village Drive and AprÃs Ski Way, on suspicion of driving under the influence, DUI per se and speeding.

10:40 p.m. A burglar alarm went off in the 100 block of South Poplar Street. Everything was fine.

11:17 p.m. A suspicious vehicle was reported in the 2900 block of South Lincoln Avenue. Police issued two citations for possessing alcohol as a minor.
