Arts Council hosts 'Cabaret' auditions Sunday, Monday
The Steamboat Springs Arts Council hosts auditions for the 26th annual "Cabaret" at 2 p.m. Sunday and 7 p.m. Monday at the Depot Art Center on 13th Street. The production - a collection of songs, skits and other locally focused comedy - will run April 16, 17 and 18 at the Steamboat Grand Resort Hotel.
The theme for this year's show is "Cabaret Bails Out the 'Boat." Director Patty Zimmer said interested "Cabaret" participants need to come to auditions prepared to perform a skit or song they would like to see in the show. The more developed the skit or song, the better chance it has of getting into "Cabaret."
For more information, call Patty Zimmer at 870-9985 or the Arts Council at 879-9008.
