1:34 a.m. A possible fight was reported at Eighth Street and Lincoln Avenue, where a passing motorist saw three men who may have been fighting. Police said there was not a fight.

7:14 a.m. A two-vehicle accident was reported on U.S. Highway 40 east of Steamboat II, where a Jeep Cherokee collided with a semitrailer. The driver of the Jeep, a 50-year-old Parachute man, sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

8:09 a.m. An animal complaint was received from Storm Meadows Drive, where a man left a dog unrestrained in the back of a pickup and went skiing. Animal control officers checked on the dog, and it was fine.

8:53 a.m. A 23-year-old Steamboat Springs man was arrested on suspicion of trying to purchase a firearm while being a felon.

9:42 a.m. An animal complaint was received from the 38200 block of Routt County Road 33, where two dogs were chasing sheep. Animal control officers took one of the dogs to the animal shelter but the other was gone when they arrived.

11:12 a.m. An ambulance was requested in Oak Creek, for a 24-year-old man suffering a possible drug overdose. He was transported to the hospital.

12:19 p.m. A three-vehicle accident was reported at Anglers Drive and Lincoln Avenue. One person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

12:51 p.m. Two dogs at large were reported in the 2300 block of Mount Werner Circle. They were gone when animal control officers arrived.

12:59 p.m. Two dogs at large were reported in the 400 block of Willow Bend in Oak Creek.

2:04 p.m. An animal complaint was received from the 1800 block of Kamar Plaza, where a black lab and a pit bull were dropped off. The dogs were returned to their owner, who was given a warning.

2:09 p.m. Thirteen snowmobilers reported themselves missing in North Routt County, in the area of Forest Service Road 409. The group was guided out safely over the phone within two hours.

3:25 p.m. A possible drunken driver was reported heading east on U.S. 40 near Steamboat II. Routt County Sheriff's Office deputies were unable to locate the vehicle.

3:52 p.m. An abandoned vehicle was reported on Seedhouse Road.

5:55 p.m. Trespassing was reported in the 2900 block of West Acres Drive.

7:34 p.m. A missing person was reported in the 32500 block of C.R. 38, where a 19-year-old man failed to show up to work. Sheriff's Office deputies took a report.

8:39 p.m. A fire alarm went off in the 1200 block of Lincoln Avenue. Everything was fine.

8:50 p.m. A one-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported in the 700 block of South Lincoln Avenue, where a car hit a snowbank. The driver, a 19-year-old Steamboat Springs man, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and careless driving.

11:12 p.m. A domestic dispute was reported in Steamboat Springs, where a woman was kicking a man out of a residence and throwing his belongings outside. Police gave the man a courtesy ride to a hotel for the night.
