The Rocky Mountain Youth Corps presents its third annual Moonshine Wine and Dine fundraiser, a cross-country ski and snowshoe guided tour followed by a gourmet dinner with paired wines. The event, "Evening on Emerald," begins at 6:30 p.m. March 7 with appetizers and wine, then it's out onto the moonlit fields for fun in the snow. Lyman Orton and Janice Izzi then host a dinner and silent auction in their red barn. All proceeds benefit the Yampa Valley Science School. Casual dress/ski-wear appropriate. Tickets cost $75. 1:34 a.m. A possible fight was reported at Eighth Street and Lincoln Avenue, where a passing motorist saw three men who may have been fighting. Police said there was not a fight.
