Steamboat Springs 12:45 a.m. A disturbance was reported at Timothy Drive and Whistler Road. It was an oral argument. Police mediated the situation and did not arrest anyone.
1:39 a.m. A drunken man was reported in Ski Time Square. He was taken to detox.
1:53 a.m. A drunken pedestrian was reported at Fifth Street and Lincoln Avenue. No more information was available.
5:28 a.m. Police responded to an animal complaint in the 3400 block of Stone Lane. They took a cat to the shelter.
9:07 a.m. A gas skip was reported in the 2000 block of Curve Plaza. Police found the driver, who returned and paid.
9:09 a.m. Vandalism was reported in the 200 block of Sixth Street. A chunk of ice had broken a window. Police wrote it up as criminal mischief but weren't sure whether someone threw the ice or it was an accident.
2:43 p.m. Harassment was reported in the 26000 block of Forest Service Road 409 in Clark. Sheriff's officials took a report.
3:19 p.m. A juvenile runaway was reported. The juvenile lived in Hayden, so Steamboat Springs police turned the case over to Hayden police.
5:09 p.m. A transit bus and another vehicle collided at Mount Werner Road and U.S. 40. No one was injured.
6:51 p.m. Police and an ambulance responded to the Gondola Transit Center. A man who was snowboarding down a hill between a hotel and condos landed on the pavement. He was taken to Yampa Valley Medical Center for possible back injuries.
7:53 p.m. A one-vehicle, noninjury wreck occurred on Ski Trail Lane. A vehicle left the road and slid down an embankment. A tree stopped its slide, and rescuers spent 45 minutes to an hour removing the vehicle from the tree.
9:05 p.m. Police found a vehicle in a snow bank in the 900 block of Weiss Drive. It wasn't blocking traffic, so they didn't have it towed.
10:50 p.m. A drunken pedestrian was reported in the 2800 block of Village Drive. Police took the person home.
11:53 p.m. A suspicious vehicle was reported in the 700 block of Lithia Springs Road. People were sitting in the vehicle talking. Police told them they couldn't park there overnight and asked them to leave.
