1:56 a.m. A 30-year-old Steamboat Springs man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and driving with his license plate obstructed at Seventh and Oak streets. The man was found to be in possession of cocaine while he was being booked at Routt County Jail, and he also was charged with possession of a Schedule 2 controlled substance and introducing contraband.

7:08 a.m. An ambulance was requested in Steamboat Springs for a person having issues related to a recent knee surgery. He or she was transported to the hospital.

7:15 a.m. A disturbance was reported at Clubhouse and Overlook drives, where a woman and her grandson were arguing about his driving skills. He reportedly parked the car in a snow bank and ended up walking to the bus stop.

9:33 a.m. A dog bite was reported in the 400 block of Willow Bend in Oak Creek. Animal control officers took a report.

12:46 p.m. A Steamboat Springs man reported that checks had been stolen from him and then used at a local business. Police are investigating.

2:08 p.m. An unfounded report of a protection order violation was received from the 1300 block of Indian Trails. The incident was part of an ongoing dispute between soon-to-be exes.

3:40 p.m. A dog at large was reported in the 2300 block of Mount Werner Circle. The animal was picked up and taken to the shelter.

4:03 p.m. Drug possession by juveniles was reported on East Maple Street. No more information was available.

5:12 p.m. A vehicle complaint was received from Conestoga Circle where someone was driving erratically. Police later pulled over the vehicle in the 200 block of Lincoln Avenue and ticketed the driver on an unrelated offense.

6:34 p.m. A drunken man reportedly was knocking over and breaking things in a hotel lobby in the 2300 block of Mount Werner Circle. The man, a 34-year-old Steamboat Springs resident, later was contacted aboard a city bus and arrested on an outstanding warrant for driving while ability impaired.

6:45 p.m. A bicyclist reportedly was riding on Lincoln Avenue near Dream Island Plaza with no lights. Police were unable to locate the person.

9:45 p.m. A 41-year-old Steamboat Springs woman was arrested during a traffic stop at Eighth and Oak streets on suspicion of driving under the influence, DUI per se and disregarding a stop sign.
