Steamboat Springs Monday, Aug. 17
12:19 a.m. Routt County Sheriff's Office deputies, Yampa Fire Protection District emergency responders and Advocates Building Peaceful Communities representatives were called to a report of domestic violence in Yampa. Deputies arrested a 29-year-old Yampa man on suspicion of third-degree assault, menacing, child abuse and wiretapping.
2:31 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers contacted a person at Lincoln Avenue and Cemetery Drive, where a man reportedly was urinating in public. No more information was available.
9:22 a.m. Twentymile Ambulance emergency responders were called to an ambulance request near Steamboat Springs.
9:33 a.m. Police and Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue emergency responders were called to an ambulance request in the 900 block of Pine Grove Road. Medical crews transported a 31-year-old man to Yampa Valley Medical Center.
9:37 a.m. Police were called to a report of a suspicious incident in the 1600 block of Clubhouse Drive, where a person reportedly saw a prowler the night before. Officers took a report.
11:17 a.m. North Routt Fire Protection District emergency responders were called to an ambulance request near Clark.
12:19 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a burglary in the 29000 block of Routt County Road 33, where a house had been ransacked but nothing was reported stolen. Deputies took a report.
12:46 p.m. Police arrested a 26-year-old Colorado man in the 700 block of Oak Street on a warrant for failure to appear on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia.
12:55 p.m. Police were called to a complaint of loud music in the 3300 block of Covey Circle. Officers gave a verbal warning but later returned to the party for another noise complaint.
2:27 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a theft in the 100 block of Moffat Avenue in Yampa. Deputies arrested a 23-year-old Yampa man on suspicion of driving under suspension, and a 24-year-old Yampa man on suspicion of theft and tampering with a utility meter.
2:54 p.m. Police were called to a report of a noninjury hit-and-run crash in the 100 block of Lincoln Avenue.
3:07 p.m. Deputies and Oak Creek Fire Rescue emergency responders were called to a request for an ambulance in Oak Creek.
4:31 p.m. North Routt Fire Protection District was called to an ambulance request near Clark.
4:32 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue was called to an ambulance request in the 1400 block of Pine Grove Road.
5:45 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of vandalism in the 21000 block of Fourth Avenue in Phippsburg, where a window was broken out of a car. Deputies took a report.
5:49 p.m. Police were called to a report of vandalism in the 3000 block of Columbine Drive, where a woman reported that her roommate had broken some of her property. Officers took a criminal mischief report.
7:39 p.m. Deputies were called to a request for an officer at C.R. 178 and 179, near Milner, where a large hay bale had fallen off a truck. Deputies helped clear the hay from the road.
8:20 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a suspicious person in the 61000 block of C.R. 62, where a man reportedly was walking around a campsite looking into trailers. Deputies later arrested the suspect, a 55-year-old Steamboat man, on suspicion of driving under revocation.
9:16 p.m. Police were called to a report of a drunken driver at Pine Grove Road and South Lincoln Avenue, where a person reported that a driver ran a red light and appeared to pass out in the car. Officers reported that concern was unfounded.
10:16 p.m. Deputies were called to the 41000 block of C.R. 36 for a report of a missing man. The man was found Tuesday morning, and everything was fine.
11:22 p.m. Deputies and Oak Creek Fire Rescue were called to a request for an ambulance.
