Llamas at the Routt County Fair could have been strolling through the countryside for all the concern they showed as their handlers walked them around the ring at noon Friday. The four llamas, Oreo, Dillon, Bandito and Otis, belong to the White family of North Routt County, and they're all accustomed to walking the rough trails that lead to the high country.

Chamber barometer: Lodging to be 46 percent full tonight
The Steamboat Springs Chamber Resort Association's lodging barometer showed that about 46 percent of the city's rental pillows are expected to be full tonight. That represents about 6,400 visitors. The forecast for the same weekend last year was 45 percent. The actual occupancy then was higher: 54 percent.
