— Featuring art openings at formal galleries, alternative venues, retail stores and restaurants, the August First Friday Artwalk includes several showings of new work, along with continued presentations of summer shows. Receptions are from 5 to 8 p.m. today and are free and open to all ages, unless otherwise noted. Many events include refreshments and live entertainment.

- Artists' Gallery of Steamboat presents "Songs of Summer," featuring abstract bronze work and new sculptures by Sandy P. - The Center for Visual Arts of Steamboat continues its presentation of "Colorado Fresh," a collection of new plein air landscapes of Steamboat and the Rocky Mountains by Nicholas Reti.
