Q. When did you move to Routt County, and what brought you here?

A. November 2005 hurricanes.

Q. What's the biggest risk you've taken recently?

A. Letting my cat go outside even though I know I'll find dead chipmunks or live birds when she comes back in.

Q. Describe your morning routine.

A. Hit snooze about four times, drag myself out of bed to let my predator kitty out, then hop in the shower and speed to work.

Q. Has a book ever changed your life? What was it and why?

A. "The Flavor Bible," a book about the fundamentals of flavor and food and how to begin putting it all together. It gave me courage to even start cooking.

Q. What things would you want people to know about you?

A. I really am this nice, and even though I'm in a slump, I really can hit a softball.

Q. What did you want to be when you grew up?

A. A broadcast journalist on "Dateline NBC."

Q. If you could invite any four people to dinner, who would they be and what would you talk about?

A. Hoda Kotb - her start as an anchor in New Orleans all the way to the "Today Show." Brett Favre - Why did you tease us Vikes fans. Brad Childress - about going after Michael Vick. Sean Payton - how the Saints are winning the Super Bowl this year.

Q. What was your first job?

A. I was a tour guide at a plantation on the River Road in New Orleans. I even wore the big puffy dress.

Q. Who is your favorite superhero? Why?

A. The Elastigirl from "The Incredibles" because she really can be in two places at once.

Q. If you could go back in time, to what event or time period would you go?

A. Scarlett O'Hara's days.

Q. What is your favorite thing to do in Routt County?

A. Play co-ed softball for the Crown Royals.
