2:35 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers arrested an 18-year-old Steamboat Springs man on suspicion of driving under the influence after a traffic stop at Third Street and Lincoln Avenue.
3:41 a.m. Police were called to a report of a bear in the 1900 block of Cornice Road where a man walking his dogs reportedly was chased by a bear with two cubs. Officers urged the bear to return to the wilderness by shooting it with a beanbag round.
8:02 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue emergency responders were called to a report of smoke on the hillside behind Steamboat Cemetery.
8:54 a.m. Police were called to a report of vandalism in the 3400 block of AprÃs Ski Way where a resident reported a neighbor had moved surveying stakes. Officers informed the neighbors the issue was a civil matter.
9:03 am. Police were called to a three-car, noninjury crash in the 1900 block of 13th Street. Officers issued a ticket to a driver for making a left turn in front of oncoming cars.
10:50 a.m. Routt County Sheriff's Office deputies were called to a report of threats in Oak Creek where a man reportedly was making threats to his ex-wife. Deputies arrested a 43-year-old man with no fixed address on suspicion of violating a protection order, theft, harassment and violation of bond conditions.
10:59 a.m. Police were called to a report of a suspicious incident involving a loud neighbor in the 2700 block of Longthong Road. Officers made extra patrols.
11:22 a.m. Police were called to a report of fraud in the 200 block of Caribou Lane where a Steamboat man reportedly received a call from a California-based business regarding more than $8,000 worth of equipment purchased in the man's name. The investigation continues.
2:13 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of harassment in Yampa, where a customer reportedly yelled at a convenience store clerk.
4:42 p.m. Deputies arrested an 18-year-old Oak Creek man on suspicion of being a fugitive of justice regarding a dog at large after a traffic stop at U.S. Highway 40 and Colorado Highway 131.
6:54 p.m. Police arrested a 39-year-old Steamboat man on suspicion of driving under revocation, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop in the first block of East Maple Street.
8:26 p.m. Police were called to a noise complaint in the 1300 block of Sparta Plaza. Deputies issued a warning.
9:14 p.m. Police were called to a request for citizen assistance in Steamboat for a series of unwanted text messages.
10:10 p.m. Police were called to a request for citizen assistance at U.S. 40 and Routt County Road 129.
