Western Slope College Fair is today in Aspen
The Western Slope College Fair is from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at Aspen High School. The fair is free and open to all students and parents. About 180 college admissions representatives will be present to meet with parents and students. No registration is necessary. For more information, visit www.westernslopecollegefair.com.
Teen of the Month applications accepted
The Steamboat Springs Optimist Club is accepting applications for its Teen of the Month program. Area high school students and those interested can pick up applications from their school counselors or by calling Rob MacCarthy at 871-7179. The program culminates in a May recognition dinner for all the recognized teens and a scholarship for the Teen of the Year.
Mother and baby group Tuesday at Brooklyn Park
Newborn Network hosts a mother and baby group at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Brooklyn Park, for parents with newborns to crawling infants. In case of bad weather, call 879-0977 for an alternate location.

The Yampa Valley University Women hold their monthly meeting Friday at noon at the Selbe Apartments Scott Center on Rollingstone Drive. Catherine Lykken from League of Women Voters will present upcoming election and ballot issues. Visitors and prospective members are welcome. Lunch is provided.
