Volunteers needed for Yampa Valley airport drill

— Yampa Valley Regional Airport needs volunteer victims for its Oct. 5 mass casualty drill. The drill is a fun and interesting way to help our emergency services practice their skills. As many as 60 volunteers are needed for the mock airplane incident. Meals will be provided. Call 276-5011.

Rotary Youth Exchange applications due Tuesday

The Steamboat Springs Rotary Club is accepting applications for its 2009-10 Rotary Youth Exchange Program. The program includes long-term and summer exchanges.

The Rotary Youth Exchange Program is looking for students who are above-average academically, articulate and demonstrate leadership in their community. Students must be ages 15 to 19 but do not have to be involved in Rotary.

An initial application is due Tuesday. To obtain an application or to learn more, call Lynaia South Orr at 879-9300 or 879-6783.
