Bust of Steamboat artists, sponsors needed

Organizers of The Bust of Steamboat are accepting sponsors and artists to create unique bra designs for a live auction during this year's event, from 5 to 8 p.m. Oct. 24 at Three Peaks Bar & Grill. To see past entries and auctions visit Sponsorships are a tax-deductible donation of $350 to the Yampa Valley Breast Cancer Awareness Project and include two tickets to the event. All the money raised stays in Routt and Moffat counties to help uninsured and under-insured women to pay for mammograms, annual wellness exams and assist in breast cancer treatment costs. Bras will be on display in the community raising awareness during the month of October. For more information, call Debbie Curd at 871-7907.

The Steamboat Springs High School Creative Expression class is in need of donations of fabric and sewing supplies for use by students. All donations can be dropped off at the high school main office or by contacting Gayle Dudley at or 871-3641.
