Age: 19

Occupation: Administrative assistant for TIC/ Bookseller for Off the Beaten Path

Place of birth: Steamboat Springs

Q. When did you move to Routt County, and what brought you here?

A. Born and raised in Steamboat, so I guess you could say my parents brought me here.

Q. What's the biggest risk you've taken recently?

A. Not going back to college.

Q. Describe your morning routine.

A. Wake up, turn on some music, get dressed, do my hair, brush my teeth and such, and then go to work. Have breakfast before I leave, depending on the morning, but that really doesn't happen much.

Q. Has a book ever changed your life? What was it and why?

A. I think all books can change your life, if even for the moment you are reading it. "The Power of One" remains one of my all time favorites. With amazing writing, vivid portrayals, intriguing characters, it definitely keeps the reader's interest and throws them into one of the best stories in literature.

Q. What's the best piece of advice you've ever been given?

A. Character is built out of circumstances.

Q. What three things would you want people to know about you?

A. My taste in music, my smile and my family.

Q. What did you want to be when you grew up?

A. A veterinarian.

Q. What was your first job?

A. Grounds keeper at Riverbend Golf Course. And wow, am I a klutz.

Q. Who is your favorite superhero? Why?

A. My favorite superhero would be Storm because then I could control the weather. Maybe it could be autumn for a while longer:

Q. If you could go back in time, to what event or time period would you go?

A. I'm not sure that there is a specific era I would go back to, but it would be entirely entertaining if life really were a musical.

Q. What is your favorite thing to do in Routt County?

A. I love the Fish Creek Falls, especially this time of year when the leaves are all changing.
