Friday, Sept. 19

7:49 a.m. A burglary was reported in the 2100 block of Downhill Drive where a safe was stolen from a business. Police are investigating.

10:53 a.m. A dog at large was reported at Walton Creek Road and U.S. Highway 40. The animal was gone when police arrived.

11:05 a.m. A burglary was reported in the 1700 block of Burgess Creek Road where a substantial amount of wiring was stolen from a construction site. Police are investigating.

11:58 a.m. A possible wildland fire was reported near mile maker 103 on U.S. 40, west of Hayden. Everything was fine.

3:36 p.m. A possible drunken driver was reported at Fish Creek Falls Road and Tamarack Drive.

3:49 p.m. A suspicious vehicle was reported in the alley between the 900 blocks of Lincoln and Oak streets. The vehicle was gone when police arrived.

4:33 p.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported on U.S. 40 just west of Elk River Road. Police took a report.

4:49 p.m. A vehicle complaint was received from mile marker 58 on Colorado Highway 131, where a car was passing unsafely. Routt County Sheriff's Office deputies were unable to locate the vehicle.

5:35 p.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported at Lincoln Avenue and Seventh Street. Police took a report.

5:42 p.m. Trespassing was reported in the 19500 block of C.R. 29.

5:53 p.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported at Fourth Street and Lincoln Avenue. Police took a report.

7:50 p.m. A gas skip was reported in the 200 block of West Jefferson Avenue in Hayden. Police took a report.

11:19 p.m. A drunken pedestrian was reported in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue. A 40-year-old Steamboat Springs man was arrested on suspicion of violating bail bond conditions.
