— 4:21 a.m. A burglar alarm went off on Mountain Village Circle. Everything was fine.

4:41 a.m. The emergency department at Yampa Valley Medical Center requested a welfare check on a patient who left against medical advice. The person was contacted at Whistler and Walton Creek roads and agreed to return to the hospital.

5:36 a.m. A hit-and-run accident was reported in the 31300 block of Deerwood Ranch Road, where an unknown vehicle drove through a gate and ripped it off its hinges.

7:03 a.m. Cows were reported in the road near mile marker 20 on Routt County Road 27. They were gone when animal control officers arrived.

7:25 a.m. A structure fire was reported in the 40500 block of Steamboat Drive in Steamboat II. No one was injured, and no other structures were affected. The fire is believed to have started in the garage, but the cause is under investigation.

8:15 a.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported at Hilltop Parkway and U.S. Highway 40. Police took a report.

9:19 a.m. A 40-year-old Steamboat Springs man turned himself in on an outstanding traffic offense warrant at the Routt County Sheriff's Office.

9:37 a.m. A suspicious person was reported in the 300 block of South Lincoln Avenue, where a transient man who had been allowed to sleep in the lobby of a lodging facility refused to move. Police gave a trespassing warning.

11:17 a.m. Sheriff's Office deputies assisted a motorist near mile marker 5 on C.R. 129.

12:32 p.m. A one-vehicle rollover accident was reported on Willow Creek Pass on C.R. 129, where an SUV rolled and came to a rest on its wheels. The driver sustained minor injuries and was transported to the hospital.

12:46 p.m. A fire alarm went off in the 29900 block of Emerald Meadows Drive. Everything was fine.

1:33 p.m. Police mediated a dispute between construction workers and a resident in the 1300 block of Sparta Plaza.

1:49 p.m. A two-vehicle accident was reported near mile marker 7 on C.R. 129, where a jeep collided head-on with a gravel truck. The driver of the jeep, a 50-year-old Clark man, was transported to the hospital with a broken femur and ankle. He was cited for careless driving.

2:07 p.m. A fire alarm went off in the 300 block of Seventh Street. Everything was fine.

2:29 p.m. Police took an accident report at Alpine Drive and Fish Creek Falls Road, where a city vehicle supervising blasting sustained minor damage from flying rocks.

2:43 p.m. A vehicle complaint was received from River Road in the Brooklyn neighborhood, where a driver was passing unsafely. Police were unable to locate the vehicle.

2:57 p.m. A wildland fire was reported in the 58000 block of Cowboy Way in Clark, where a controlled burn was getting out of hand. North Routt fire crews helped control and monitor the fire until it burned out.

4:02 p.m. A two-vehicle accident was reported in the 300 block of South Lincoln Avenue, where a car attempting to cross traffic was T-boned by an oncoming car and turned on its side. The driver sustained minor injuries but did not require transport to the hospital. Police took a report.

5:53 p.m. An ambulance was requested in Steamboat Springs, where an out-of-control skateboarder heading down 12th Street at Bob Adams Drive struck a stopped vehicle. The skateboarder suffered minor injuries.

5:59 p.m. A two-vehicle, hit-and-run accident was reported in the 1300 block of Dream Island Plaza. There were no injuries. Police took a report.

7:18 p.m. A suspicious vehicle was reported on Huckleberry Lane, where a pickup had been parked for more than an hour with its lights and engine on. The vehicle was gone when Sheriff's Office deputies arrived.

9:01 p.m. A stolen wallet was reported in Steamboat Springs. Police took a report.

10:30 p.m. A noise complaint was received from the 1300 block of Athens Plaza. Police gave a warning.
