8:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. The Colorado Wildlife Commission will hold a regular meeting at the Sheraton Steamboat Resort, 2200 Village Inn Court, in Steamboat Springs. The commission plans to hear public testimony about big game management during the next five-year season structure at 1 p.m. and will hear a report about the size of the Bear's Ears elk herd at 2 p.m.
10 to 11:30 a.m. Moffat County Library in Craig celebrates Patriot Day at story time. Come join Miss Trish as she reads about Betsy Ross, designer of the first U.S. flag, President George Washington and President Abe Lincoln.
3 p.m. Voter registration for the November 2008 General Election will be offered at the Farmers Market in Alice Pleasant Park. First-time voters and people new to the area can drop by and register. This is a nonpartisan, public service provided by Colorado Environmental Coalition and Friends of Northwest Colorado.
3 to 6 p.m. Farmers Market takes place at Alice Pleasant Park, 500 block of Yampa Avenue in downtown Craig. Potatoes, squash, onions, garlic, cheese, and baked goods available. Only two markets left. Call 824-5343.

6 p.m. The Elks Lodge hosts bingo each Friday night. Fifteen games are played with a minimum payout of $1,000 each night. The lodge is at 43 W. Victory Way. Doors open at 5 p.m.
7 to 9 p.m. Celebrate Recovery meets at First Baptist Church, 1150 W. Ninth St. The purpose of the group is to help people overcome hurts, habits and hang-ups, in a safe environment. Live worship music and childcare is provided. Late-comers are welcome. Call Caroline 620-0659.
7 p.m. Fellowship Group Alcoholics Anonymous meets at 80 E. Fourth St.
Saturday, Sept. 13
5 p.m. Bingo at the Elks Lodge, 43 W. Victory Way. First ball is called at 6:15 p.m.
6:15 p.m. The American Legion Post No. 62 hosts bingo night at the Elk's Lodge, 43 W. Victory Way. Sixteen games will be played. Doors open at 5 p.m. A 10-game pack costs $15. A progressive jackpot is more than $1,000. Call 824-3625.
