5:04 a.m. A noise complaint was received from the 100 block of North Poplar Street in Hayden.
6:56 a.m. A cow at large was reported on River Road. Animal control officers were unable to locate the owners.
7:40 a.m. A burglar alarm went off in the 2700 block of Downhill Drive. Everything was fine.
7:57 a.m. Police assisted a motorist at Ninth Street and Lincoln Avenue.
8:24 a.m. A noise complaint was received from the 1500 block of the Shadow Run Frontage Road.
11:33 a.m. Vandalism was reported in Yampa, where six or seven holes were shot in the side of a building. Routt County Sheriff's Office deputies took a report.
12:04 p.m. A fire alarm went off in the 1800 block of Medicine Springs Drive. Everything was fine.
12:24 p.m. A fire alarm went off in the 2300 block of Ski Trail Lane. Everything was fine.
12:28 p.m. A fire alarm went off in the 1800 block of Medicine Springs Drive. Everything was fine.
2:14 p.m. Sheriff's Office deputies assisted a motorist in Yampa.
2:14 p.m. A one-vehicle accident was reported in the 38800 block of Mud Alley in Milner, where a truck struck a utility pole, which then fell and hit a house. No one was injured.
4:35 p.m. A missing child was reported in Steamboat Springs, where a 5-year-old failed to come home from school. The child had boarded the wrong school bus and quickly was located safely.
4:38 p.m. A brushfire was reported in the 41400 block of Routt County Road 38A, moving uphill on a grassy slope. The flames were extinguished quickly.
4:40 p.m. Sheriff's Office deputies assisted a motorist near mile marker 119 on U.S. Highway 40.
5:18 p.m. A wildland fire was reported between Yampa Valley Regional Airport and Xcel Energy's Hayden Station. Grass in the area was smoldering, but there were no flames. West Routt fire crews monitored the fire until it was out.
5:43 p.m. A welfare check was requested on a family at a campground at the North Lake Trailhead on Forest Service Road 443, because of a possible dispute. Sheriff's Office deputies located them, and everything was fine.
6:44 p.m. A one-vehicle rollover accident was reported near the Willow Creek Pass subdivision outside Clark. The driver refused medical assistance.
9:29 p.m. A verbal domestic dispute was reported in Oak Creek. Sheriff's Office deputies took a report.
10:56 p.m. A burglar alarm went off in the 200 block of Lincoln Avenue. Everything was fine.
10:59 p.m. An abandoned vehicle was reported at C.R. 14F and Colorado Highway 131.
11:42 p.m. A 24-year-old Steamboat Springs man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and other traffic charges during a traffic stop at Seventh and Oak streets.
