Leadership Steamboat applications due Friday
Since 1992, the Steamboat Springs Chamber Resort Association and Colorado Mountain College have facilitated the Leadership Steamboat class, a leadership training program organized to develop leaders in business and community service.

Brewers' festival seeks local home brewers
The Steamboat Brewers' Festival is seeking home brewers in the Routt County area who are interested in participating in the event from 1 to 5 p.m. Sept. 20 at Torian Plum Plaza at the base of Steamboat Ski Area.

Community Foundation grant applications due
Sept. 15 is the deadline for applications for grants from The Yampa Valley Community Foundation Community Grant Fund and the Steamboat Ski and Resort Corp. Recreation Grant Fund. Community grants are available for any nonprofit activity in Routt or Moffat counties that falls within the areas of environment, education, health and human services, recreation or art and culture. The Ski Corp. Recreation Fund serves above-ground recreation projects in Routt County. Grant applications are available at www.yvcf.org. Recipients will be announced in December.
