Local graduates from Central Michigan in May

Marcus Hudson, of Steamboat Springs, graduated from Central Michigan University in May with a bachelor of science degree in business administration.

Students show pastors appreciation Wednesday

The Christian Heritage School will hold a Pastor Appreciation Day on Wednesday. The students will put on a program for all pastors in the valley. The program will be held from 10:40 to 11:15 a.m. Pastors are invited to stay after the program for lunch with the students.

Steamboat School Board meets 6 p.m. Monday

The Steamboat Springs School Board meets Monday evening in Centennial Hall.

Agenda items include:

6:15 p.m. Board questions for community forums

6:30 p.m. Call to order, approval of agenda

October designated for Dyslexia Awareness

Gov. Bill Ritter has declared October "Dyslexia Awareness Month." During the month, local organizations are encouraged to raise dyslexia awareness.
