3:29 a.m. A burglar alarm went off in the 32300 block of Routt County Road 14. Everything was fine.
6:30 a.m. A bank alarm went off in the 300 block of Lincoln Avenue. Everything was fine.
7:18 a.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported on Burgess Creek Road where a car collided with a city snowplow. Police took a report.
7:59 a.m. A 35-year-old Steamboat Springs man turned himself in on an outstanding warrant at the Routt County Sheriff's Office.
11:41 a.m. Three boys and two girls about 15 years old reportedly were smoking in an alley near Eighth and Aspen streets.
11:55 a.m. A possible child-abuse case was reported in Steamboat Springs. Police are investigating.
12:31 p.m. Prescription fraud was reported in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive where a man tried to obtain narcotics with an expired prescription. The man, a 20-year-old Steamboat Springs resident, was arrested on suspicion of fraud and deceit, and criminal attempt.
3:02 p.m. A drunken driver was reported on U.S. Highway 40 near Colorado Highway 131. Law enforcement officers were unable to locate the vehicle.
3:05 p.m. A fire alarm went off in the 2400 block of Ski Trail Lane. Everything was fine.
3:20 p.m. A vehicle complaint was received from the 800 block of Yampa Street where an unattended vehicle slipped out of gear and rolled down a hill. The vehicle was stopped before it hit anything.
5:29 p.m. A suspicious incident was reported in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive, where a loud boom set off car alarms. The noise was from a semitrailer hitting a curb and blowing out a tire.
10:02 p.m. A noise complaint was received from the 1400 block of Eagle Glen Drive, where heavy equipment was running.
11:34 p.m. Sheriff's Office deputies assisted a motorist near mile marker 119 on U.S. 40.
